Incident at 11101 South Post Oak
July 17, 2006 -- Houston police
are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the aggravated
assault of another man at 11101 South Post Oak about 5:05 a.m.
on Saturday (July 15).
The deceased victim, Isidoro E. Vides, 27, of
5565 Gasmer #640, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was
transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later died from
his injuries. The second victim, Ronny Galves, 21, suffered multiple
gunshot wounds to the arm, hands and chest. He was transported
to Ben Taub General Hospital where he is listed in critical but
stable condition.

and Officer X. Avila reported:
Both victims were inside a bar at the above address
when they became involved in a verbal argument with another male.
The victims were walking outside to leave the bar when two or
three males followed them. As Galvez was getting into the driver's
side of the car and Vides was entering the passenger side of the
vehicle, one of the males pulled out a pistol and began shooting
at them. The suspect, described only as an Hispanic male, was
approximately 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighed
between 130 and 140 pounds. He had a dark complexion and a short
haircut. He may be driving a 2000 to 2004 black over yellow convertible.
