Update on Incident at 5638 Selinsky
July 17, 2006 -- Charged have
been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of
a female at 5638 Selinsky on July 15, 2006.
The suspect, Kevin Michael Ogilvie (b/m, DOB:
1-31-62), has been arrested and charged with murder in the 337th
State District Court.

and Officer D. L. Robertson reported:
On the evening of July 15, 2006, the victim,
Tanya Monique Thompson, 31, of 5638 Selinsky #152, was involved
in an argument with the suspect at the Crestmont Village apartments.
At approximately 11:20 p.m., the suspect, who was apparently leaving
the complex, stopped and confronted Thompson who was standing
with friends in the parking lot. The suspect first struck Thompson
in the face with his fist and then pulled a handgun and fired
multiple shots at Thompson. Thompson was pronounced dead at the
scene. The suspect fled the scene in a black Ford Mustang convertible
with a brown top and loud exhaust.
