Incident at 101 Goodson
July 15, 2006 -- Houston police
are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 101 Goodson about
3 p.m. on Friday (July 14).
The victim is identified as Damien Hubbard, 24,
of 197 Goodson #77. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was
pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Olivo and Officer
M. Khan reported:
Mr. Hubbard and a female friend were walking
in front of the apartment complex at 101 Goodson when an unknown
black male, which Hubbard appeared to know, approached the pair.
Hubbard and the suspect exchanged words. The suspect then pulled
a handgun and shot Hubbard multiple times. The suspect is described
as a black male in his early 20s. He was approximately 5 feet
9 inches tall and weighed 150 pounds. The suspect had braided
hair and worn a black T-shirt with white lettering, black shorts
and white tennis shoes. A motive is unknown at this time.
