Incident at 3800 South MacGregor Way

July 12, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 3800 South MacGregor Way about 8:05 a.m. on Tuesday (July 11).

The victim's identity is pending notification to family members.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. E. Elliott and Officer J. C. Bonaby reported:

The victim's body was found floating in Braes Bayou near Scott Street. A Louisiana driver's license was found on the victim showing his last known address to be in New Orleans. The cause of death will be determined by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.
