Traffic Incident at 8500 Monroe

January 8, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal accident at 8500 Monroe today (January 8), about 3:15 a.m.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant D.S. Runyan and Officer L.D. Ferguson reported:

A pickup truck driven by a female was going westbound on Scranton. According to the witness, the driver ran the stop sign at Moroe and struck another truck that was traveling northbound on Monroe. Her male passenger as well as the driver of the other pick up truck were transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
