Incident at 4500 Palo Pinto
February 25, 2006 -- Houston
police are investigating the apparent beating death of a man found
in the 4500 block of Palo Pinto about 5:10 a.m. today (Feb. 25).
The unidentified victim suffered blunt trauma
to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy will
be performed to determine his identity and cause of death.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C.E. Elliott and
Officer M. Cruz Jr. reported:
Officers responded to a call of a man found dead
in the street in the 4500 block of Palo Pinto. Investigators arrived
and determined the victim appeared to have been beaten at an unknown
location and then taken to and left in the street on Palo Pinto.
