Incident at 6212 Tierwester
February 11, 2006 -- Houston
police are investigating the fatal shooting of a convenience store
employee at 6212 Tierwester around 6:15 p.m. on Friday (Feb. 10).
The identity of the victim is pending notification
to the next of kin.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C.J. Grysen and
Officer K.P. Carr reported:
A customer of a neighborhood convenience store
at 6212 Tierwester entered the location and found the storekeeper
lying on the floor behind the cash register. The customer called
HPD officers and HFD paramedics. The victim suffered an apparent
gunshot wound and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital
where he was pronounced dead. Investigators believe robbery was
the motive for the shooting.
