Incident at 5430 Shamrock

February 8, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a 62-year-old man found in his home on Sunday, February 5, 2006 at around 12:30 p.m.

Family members of Esequiel Escalante Garcia, of 5430 Shamrock, became concerned about his welfare and called police. HPD Homicide Division Investigators J. Selvera and P.J. Guerrero reported that Garcia was last seen alive on Saturday, February 4, 2006 by neighbors. He had complained to friends that he was feeling sick on Thursday, February 2, 2006.

The Harris County Medical Examiners Office could not find any obvious signs of foul play and are continuing their investigation into an exact cause of death.
