Update on Incident at 5400 Dryad Drive
December 1, 2006 -- Charges
have been filed against two suspects wanted in the fatal shooting
of a juvenile male at 5400 Dryad Drive about 8:40 a.m. on November
28.
The suspects are identified as Aldo
Aguilar Ramirez (H/m, DOB 7-31-89) and Augustin
Miguel Marquez (H/m, DOB 8-28-89). Marquez also is known as
Mikey or Chino. Both suspects are charged with murder in the 184th
State District Court. Ramirez and Marquez are not in custody.
The victim, Julian Ruiz, 16, of 5722 Alvarado
suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Ben
Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

reported:
Julian Ruiz was shot after he exchanged words
with two suspects in a vehicle in the 5400 block of Dryad. The
suspects, described only as two Hispanic males, fled in a tan
or gold 1990s model Mercury Cougar with tinted windows and chrome
wheels.
The suspects' vehicle was located and recovered
in the city of Stafford about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 29).
The follow-up investigation has led to the identities of the suspects
wanted in this case.
