Update on Incident at 9304 Waller

December 1, 2006 -- A suspect has been arrested and charged in the fatal shooting of a man at 9304 Waller on July 26, 2005.

The suspect, Noe Vences (H/m, DOB 11/14/87), is charged with murder in the 178th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Nathan Winkley Marta, 35, of 11511 Olive Wood Court, who died of multiple gunshot wounds.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Officer H. Chavez reported:

The victim was found dead by family members on the morning of July 26, 2005 at an abandoned house located at 9304 Waller. Investigators filed a charge of murder on February 20, 2006 and had been searching for the suspect since then.

A Harris County Deputy arrested the suspect on Thursday (November 30) after
he led deputies on a vehicle pursuit.
