Incident at 7280 West Tidwell

September 14, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7280 West Tidwell about 12 a.m. today (Sept. 15).

The victim is identified as Pedro Santiago Diaz, 47, of 8800 Hammerly #106. He suffered gunshot wounds to the head and left leg.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L.A. Flores and Officer B.D. Evans reported:

HPD officers responded to a shooting call and discovered Diaz slumped along the wall of a car wash bay with apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later died.

Witnesses described the suspects as four black males ranging from 16 to18 years of age.
