Incident at 201 Emerson #19

September 11, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the murder of a man at 201 Emerson #19 on September 10, 2005 about 3 p.m.

The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.T. Wyers and Officer T.S. Tyler reported:

Friends of the victim found his body inside the apartment and called the police. Investigators determined that the victim had been murdered and left inside the apartment for several days. The victim's roommate and the victim's truck, a 2003 black Ford Ranger with TX plates 9GP-N73, are missing.
