Incident at 10800 W. Bellfort

March 21, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10800 W. Bellfort about 1:20 a.m. today (March 21).

The victim is identified as Antonio Carcamo Salas, 27, of 11500 Keegan's Ridge. He suffered a gunshot wound to the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Officer P. Guerrero and Officer J. Selvera reported:

Salas worked at the restaurant at 10822 W. Bellfort. The suspect was an ex-employee who quit some time ago. The suspect came to the restaurant, drank a few beers and had a conversation with Salas. The suspect and Salas went outside and a gunshot was heard. The suspect drove off in a dark red Nissan extended cab pickup truck (Arizona license plates) at a high rate of speed, spinning his tires in the parking lot.
