March 14, 2005 -- Houston police

of Main about 2:30 a.m. today (Mar. 14).
The victim is identified as Quinton Marion Kelegon,
21, of 6714 Grey Oaks. He suffered a gunshot wound to the head
and was pronounced dead at Methodist Hospital.
One suspect was described only as a black male
with braided and beaded hair who friends know as A.D. He was driving
in a burnt orange Ford Expedition. Witnesses said the suspect
frequents "Carrington's Billiards" at 9585 South Main.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.H. Binford and
Officer R.A. Swainson reported:
Kelegon and three friends had gone to Carrington's
Billiards and were in the process of leaving the parking lot when
an argument began between Kelegon and the driver of another vehicle
(Expedition). Kelegon was a passenger in his friend's car. During
the argument, the suspect driving the Expedition retrieved a pistol.
At that time, Kelegon and his friends tried to get away from the
suspect and his friends. Both vehicles traveled at high rates
of speed from the parking lot and drove along the 610 South Loop

to escape the suspect, someone in the Expedition fired shots at
the car Kelegon was riding in at two separate locations. One location
was along the West Loop and the other was near the intersection
of Westridge and Main.
When Kelego'*s friends exited the 610 West Loop
in the city limits of Bellaire, they discovered Kelegon had been
shot in the head. They then rushed him in the vehicle to Methodist
