Update on Incident at 9001 Kempwood
February 8, 2005 -- Charges
have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting
of a man at 9001 Kempwood about 1:30 a.m. on January 28.
The suspect, identified as Jose Angel Herrera
(H/m, DOB 12-30-87), is charged
with capital murder in the 208th State District Court. He is accused
in the
killing of Tereso Hernandez Tellez, 26, of 211 West 17th in Georgetown,
Texas.

L. Benavidez reported:
Tellez was approached by three men and one woman
who were driving in a maroon
Chrysler. One of the suspects (Herrera) fired several shots, striking
Tellez
multiple times as he sat in his car. The suspects stole Tellez's
wallet and
fled the scene.
Two suspects, a female juvenile and male adult,
were initially apprehended.
They have not been charged in the incident at this time.
