Incident at 16500 Westheimer Parkway

December 31, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 16500 Westheimer Parkway about 1 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2005.

The victim is identified as Nathaniel Hendrickson, 24, of Spring. The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B.J. Harris and Officer T.J. McCorvey reported:

Houston police were contacted by members of Texas EquuSearch regarding a body found at the George Bush Reservoir. The body has been identified as that of Nathaniel Hendrickson who was reported missing by the Spring Valley police department on November 30, 2005. He appears to have suffered a self inflicted gunshot wound. A handgun was found near the body.
