Traffic Incident at 11200 Briar Forest Drive

December 21, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 11200 Briar Forest Drive about 1:45 a.m. today (Dec. 21).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant G.T. Hall and Officer S. Johnson reported:

The driver of a passenger vehicle traveling eastbound on Briar Forest Drive lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree located on the median of the roadway. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. It appears that no other vehicles were involved.
