Traffic Incident at 4600 Crane at Kashmere

August 10, 2005 -- A 13-year-old teen dies after the motorcycle he was riding crashes in the 4600 block of Crane on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at about 4 p.m.

According to Houston Police Department Mobility Incident Management Division Officer D. Ertons, a blue Buick Electra and a Suzuki motorcycle were traveling eastbound on Crane when the motorcycle tried to pass the Buick on the left side. The driver of the motorcycle, Princeton Watson, laid the motorcycle down to avoid hitting an on-coming pick-up truck that was westbound on Crane. Princeton's head hit the rear of the Buick and he died from his injuries.

No charges will be filed against the driver of the Buick at this time.
