Update on Incident at 10900 North Freeway

August 1, 2005 -- Houston police have learned the identity of a woman that died at 10900 North Freeway on Saturday, July 30, 2005 at about 2:20 p.m.

The victim is Laura Patricia Castillo, 26. The cause of death is being withheld pending results of toxicology tests by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D.A. Ferguson and Officer B.C. McDaniel reported:

An unknown individual called the police to report that a woman appeared to be passed out in a white small vehicle. This vehicle was parked in a fairly large strip parking lot just off the interstate. Officers and an HFD ambulance found the woman deceased.
