Letrista Brown

Letrista BrownLetrista "Lee" Brown ... Lee earned a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics with a minor in Purchasing from the University of Houston. She completed her Master’s in Supply Chain Management and Logistics from the University of Houston as well. She is a graduate of the City Accreditation Program for Supervisors (CAPS). She has many well-earned certifications in contract management, logistics, and compliance. In addition, she earned her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Houston. In 2023 Lee was the recipient of one of the highest recognitions at the City of Houston the 2023 Mayor Bravo Award and was recognized by the Mayor of Pearland, and also the Mayor of Manvel for her work in mentoring youth in her community and serving seniors. Since joining the City of Houston in 2017 Lee has since worked for several departments including Fleet Management Department (FMD), and Houston Public Works (HPW), prior to joining the Office of Business Opportunity (OBO). Prior to joining the City of Houston in 2017 Lee worked in the Oil and Gas industry as a buyer and contract manager. Lee is also a certified paralegal in the State of Texas.

When away from the office she is an active servant at her church here in Downtown Houston and enjoys learning new languages and traveling with her family. Serving seniors, youth, and underserved communities is her passion.
