Hurricane season is here, and your Houston Public Library is more than just books -- it's a resource to help you weather the storm! We're excited to announce our Library Card Sign-Up Campaign, and this year, we're connecting it to something every Houstonian needs: hurricane preparedness.

According to the National Hurricane Center, the peak of hurricane season is on September 10, with most activity occurring between mid-August and mid-October.
