FREE LEGAL CONSULTATIONS AT ALIEF NEIGHBOHBORHOOD CENTER
Register to make an appointment for 1st or 3rd Wednesday of the month
Free legal consultations are available to eligible individuals at the City’s Alief Neighborhood Center, 11903 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX. The services are made possible through a partnership between the Department of Neighborhoods’ Office of New Americans and Immigrant Communities, Houston Health Department Office, and Boat People S.O.S. (BPSOS).
The consultations are provided by BPSOS attorneys certified to practice immigration and civil law are offered on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. by registration and appointment only.
The consultations address legal questions and concerns that pertain to the following:
- Citizenship
- Family Sponsorship
- Green Card renewal
- Family law (Divorce, Custody, Child Support)
- Wills, Medical Directive & Power of Attorneys
- Domestic Violence
- Victims of Crime
- Human Trafficking
- Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
- DACA Renewal
- Work Permit Renewal
- Asylum
- Protective Order
- Notary Services
- Business Law
